‘The resort was clean. Great for families. Great location for shops and beach, not too lively. [There was a] big swimming pool with small flume/slide. Nice food in the restaurant and bar area. The holiday experience was good as the scenery was beautiful with rocky mountains, beautiful beaches. Our location was good – 10 mins walk from beaches, restaurants, bars and shops.’ Mrs Buckman, Dunstable. Portugal.

‘The resort was lovely you could be in the lively area or the quiet areas. Plenty of restaurants. We are going back there June 2010. Really enjoyed it. ‘The resort was beautiful and the hotel beach was wonderful. The old town was interesting. Great cake shop and art gallery. The indoor swimming pool was wonderful as was the jacuzzi. Service was good clean towels and beds made. [The best things about the holiday were] the coffee, the beer and day excursions especially to cape of St Vincent. Our driver was full of information about the Algarve and its history. Made it a most enjoyable day, his name was Carlos. The hotel cafe bar, the local flowers and local people were delightful. Very welcoming, one woman gave us a bunch of flowers from her garden!’ Ms Earle, Brockley. Portugal.
